OVERVIEW

Stamped Engineering Corporation has a team dedicated to project management, project scheduling, project coordination and quality control. Our project management and quality controls groups are committed and accountable. They focus on producing high quality results all while keeping projects on time and on budget. This team is integral to the mechanical, process, electrical, structural and drafting teams.

STRATEGY:

Each Stamped Engineering project is completed in 4 phases:

  1. Initiation - project award and project kick off

  2. Planning - project scope definition

  3. Execution - basic and detailed design

  4. Closure - submission of final deliverables, and client support

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES:

The project manager takes on the responsibility for the project segments.  The project manager manages project risk, activity and resource planning.  The project manager also follows up to ensure customer satisfaction.  The project manager works with the discipline leads to ensure the disciplines have the resources they require to complete the projects as per client specifications.

 

On teams larger than six professionals, the project scheduler takes care of time management, and estimating through various tools such as Gantt charts.

 

The project coordinator is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents. The project coordinator controls the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.  The project coordinator is also responsible for organizing team meetings and keeping the project team motivated.

 

The quality control team takes on the responsibility for ensuring that Stamped Engineering design standards are adhered to. Our dedication to continuous improvement is spearheaded by our quality control team.  In order to improve overall quality on a project, it’s essential to have both a quality assurance plan, quality management plan, project plan and a specific set of standards for overall quality control. We track our projects and manage quality from design to closeout.
