Stamped Engineering Corporation was engaged to complete stress analysis, finite element analysis and design of 18 structural steel supports for a local fabrication facility.
The Stamped Engineering team conducted an extensive stress analysis of the structural steel supports using the live load and resistance factor to obtain the global safety factor. This method was able to be utilized in this case because the only load combinations required for 'CSA S16-14 Design of Steel Structures" is the live load.
The Stamped Engineering team conducted the finite element analysis by completing and reviewing the 3D modeling of all 18 structural steel supports.
The Stamped Engineering team utilized the information gathered from the stress analysis, the finite element analysis and the clients design features to generate the the final design for all 18 structural steel supports.
All engineering design and drafting to support this project was performed in house.
